“I recommend Hidden Battles as they have help my husband, a combat veteran. He attends the support meetings and actually looks forward to them! He has attended two events independently (without me). He truly feels accepted and it helps him being around others who have similar struggles, not just veterans. He has struggled for years and to see him actually look forward to something means the world to me! I am so happy I discovered Hidden Battles!”

“Thank you, Hidden Battles. I am a former Westford Police & Fire Dispatcher, the wife of a proud Massachusetts State Trooper, and former Westford Firefighter. It’s an isolated world we live in. There aren’t many that “get it” so we typically rely on each other for company and relief from the stresses of “the job”.  I dragged my husband to our first Hidden Battles Cooking Class last year, and we haven’t missed a class since! We’ve invited friends who are veteran’s, troopers, police officers and firefighters and now they are hooked too! Such an amazing experience, and so much needed laughter. The best therapy is to be surrounded by people who live our life. We’ve made so many new friends and look forward to every class. Thank you for providing this much needed outlet which promotes positive mental health & stress relief” Sharon Mayer Groton, MA

Fly Fishing

Through fly fishing, heroes are reconnected with nature where they can mentally reset. This is a perfect opportunity to practice mindfulness which promotes mental wellness. Studies show significant reductions in stress and post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms and improvements in sleep quality after participating in a fly-fishing retreat.

Family Reconnection Programs

These programs are designed to reconnect parents and children, post-COVID, with such activities as camping trips, wilderness-based programs, professional sports outings, major motion picture events, theme park outings and cook outs.

Kayak Adventures

Host kayak trips throughout MA and NH to build on community skills and mental healing by promoting physical activities.

Trail Hiking/Rucking

“Hidden Battles is a wonderful organization that provides a safe haven for veterans and first-responders who have committed their lives to protecting our country and our local neighborhoods,”

Mark S. Cochran

President and CEO of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

“Hidden Battles is a great organization for raising awareness about suicide and underlying psychological conditions. They have created an avenue for our veterans and loved ones to come out of the darkness. Drive on!”

Bill Danton

Army Veteran Nashville TN

“I can tell you from personal experience that attending Hidden Battle events and becoming a part of the foundation of my life has changed for the better. I have my own personal struggles and I have reached out to Scott in tough times, and he is always there!
Hidden Battles is my new home outside of the military!”
